The oikos-Ashoka case competition for social entrepreneurship was conceived in as a way to help find great material and case studies in this emerging field. Through a ‘Train the Trainer’ programme, local people are trained with the support of digital resources, course books and ‘Knowledge Networks’ then remain in the community.
